Are You Ready To Play Ball? Not Everyone Is Ready, But Bud Light Is

Major League Baseball’s shortened season, with no fans in the stands, begins this week. But, not in Canada.

Nevertheless, the game must go on.

And the beers must be served.

With fans limited to watching their favorite teams from home, Bud Light is highlighting local beer delivery and driving viewers to www.budlight.com/delivery.

Viewing sports on TV with no fans in the ballpark is odd, and a stark reminder of the American predicament.

We will see what kind of ratings MLB pulls this summer.

There are some interesting storylines developing, including this one. Alyssa Nakken, the first female coach on a Major League Baseball staff in league history, became the first woman to coach on the field during a major league game on Monday.

Nakken entered during the late innings of Monday’s exhibition game between the San Francisco Giants and Oakland A’s to coach first base.

Nakken was a four-time Academic All American softball player for Sacramento State where she started 184 games and was a career .304 hitter. She joined the Giants in 2014 and is currently responsible for developing, producing, and directing a number of the organization’s health and wellness initiatives and events.
