It looks like this: <\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xIJVoumWYtQ?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Sadly, fake news, a.k.a. propaganda is not innocent, nor does it exist in a bubble. <\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2017-10-18\/facebook-and-google-helped-anti-refugee-campaign-in-swing-states\">Bloomberg<\/a>, Russian meddling is far from the only social media hack that swayed voters last November. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>This American-led campaign was aided by direct collaboration with employees of Facebook and Google. They helped target the ads to more efficiently reach the intended audiences.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nTo clarify, Facebook and Google are actively spreading misinformation, as long as the fake content originates from a well-paying client. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In this case, the well-paying client is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.secureamericanow.org\/\">Secure America Now<\/a> (the largest national security digital platform in the nation). The &#8220;media company&#8221; spent millions of dollars last year spewing their pollution into the media streams of unknowing Americans.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, there&#8217;s also an agency in the middle of this debacle, one <a href=\"https:\/\/www.harrismediallc.com\/\">Harris Media<\/a> of Austin, TX. Thankfully, the content of some ads left some employees of Harris Media feeling uneasy. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIt was designed to strike fear in people\u2019s hearts,\u201d said one former Harris employee who requested anonymity.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><em>Which people<\/em> it was meant to frighten is critical to the story. <\/p>\n<p>In some cases, the ads were highly targeted on social media and aimed at groups of people, such as Hispanic voters in Nevada, a swing state, that they felt could be swayed by the anti-refugee message.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fake news is such an innocent term.
