She asked Mark if he cares about privacy as he claims to do, why is he arguing in federal court that consumers can&#8217;t hold\u00a0 Facebook liable for breaches of privacy?<\/p>\n<p>Um, Congresswoman, I&#8217;m not a lawyer and I don&#8217;t like it when people ask me tough questions that make me look dazed and confused.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/2PWNAG30zM\">https:\/\/t.co\/2PWNAG30zM<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Adpulp (@adpulp) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/adpulp\/status\/1187184452092547073?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 24, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<h2>The Full Mark<\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.c-span.org\/video\/standalone\/?465293-1\/facebook-ceo-testimony-house-financial-services-committee\" width=\"512\" height=\"330\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Mark wants to live the unfiltered life on Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>Mark doesn&#8217;t want to be the owner of The New York Times or Washington Post. Mark&#8217;s so much bigger than that. Mark is a new Vanderbilt\u2014an infrastructure man. Mark makes today&#8217;s &#8220;paper,&#8221; the stuff that all media companies need to convey their stories.<\/p>\n<p>Mark owns the platform and the platform, like the dead trees that newspapers, magazines, and books are printed on, is neutral.<\/p>\n<p>Mark wishes.<\/p>\n<p>Mark did drop out of Harvard, but the idea that a billionaire founder and CEO is above or removed from the impacts his firm has on people is ridiculous.<\/p>\n<h2>Gather Round the Digital Dumpster Fire<\/h2>\n<p>Mark does <em>not<\/em> want to filter the mental garbage from his platform. Mark wants <em>you<\/em> to do it for him.
