Are you ready and willing to jump through the necessary promotional hoops to get a $10 pre-paid rebate card?<\/p>\n<p>Can you think of other things that you&#8217;d rather see from a brand as powerful and ubiquitous as Bud Light?<\/p>\n<h2>Takeout Is Terrific, But It Won&#8217;t Save Most Restaurants<\/h2>\n<p>Takeout is a helpful bridge, but none of us know what&#8217;s on the other side.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-33613\" src=\"https:\/\/adpulp.wpengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/open-for-takeout.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"717\" height=\"542\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.adpulp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/open-for-takeout.jpg 717w, https:\/\/www.adpulp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/open-for-takeout-300x227.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 717px) 100vw, 717px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.restaurantbusinessonline.com\/operations\/dennys-feels-pinch-limited-reopening-capacities\">Restaurant Business<\/a>, dining room business in the 21 states where Denny\u2019s stores have reopened is still down by an average of 68% from a year ago. In contrast, delivery and takeout sales are up 105%.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, 272 domestic branches of the 1,695-unit chain have closed rather than offer any form of service during the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Denny&#8217;s is one of the lucky ones. On Wednesday, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/1-in-5-restaurants-could-close-due-to-coronavirus-ubs-2020-4\">UBS analyst Dennis Geiger referenced<\/a> the National Restaurant Association, saying that about 3% of restaurants in the US have already closed permanently.<\/p>\n<p>That would mean 30,000 restaurants have already shuttered, based on the NRA&#8217;s estimate of more than 1 million restaurants in the US. According to Geiger, the carnage is far from over.<\/p>\n<p>The NRA surveyed more than 4,000 restaurant owners and operators last week.
