In sports, it&#8217;s as painful as it is elsewhere, despite the fact the women discriminated against are elite athletes.<\/p>\n<p>Female athletes are banned from participating in official sports competitions because they have above-average natural testosterone levels. This has prematurely ended the career of dozens of athletes and threatens the journey of several world-class runners including the three women who won medals in the 800m competition in Rio 2016 Olympic Games: Francine Niyonsaba from Burundi, <a href=\"https:\/\/runningmagazine.ca\/the-scene\/olympic-800m-bronze-medallist-margaret-wambui-banned-from-stockholm-diamond-league\/\">Margaret Wambui from Kenya<\/a>, and the twice Olympic champion Caster Semenya.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-35899\" src=\"https:\/\/adpulp.wpengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Poster_8_Margaret.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"648\" height=\"902\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.adpulp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Poster_8_Margaret.jpg 648w, https:\/\/www.adpulp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Poster_8_Margaret-216x300.jpg 216w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 648px) 100vw, 648px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>SportTV Hits Back&#8230; H A R D<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/globoesporte.globo.com\/sportv\/\">SporTV<\/a> is the most-watched sports channel in Brazil.<\/p>\n<p>The following piece for #LetHerRun aims to pressure athletic federations and get them to mend their hurtful ways. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.letherrun.tokyo\">#LetHerRun<\/a> movement is propelled by a coalition of former athletes, sports scientists, and doctors.
