Since 1963, nearly 193,000 children and teens have been killed with guns on American soil<\/span>\u2014more than four times the number of U.S. soldiers killed in action in the Vietnam, Persian Gulf, Afghanistan, and Iraq wars combined, according to Children’s Defense Fund<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to the gun control advocacy group Change The Ref<\/a>, last year alone 3,044 more students did not get the chance to graduate because they were killed by a gun.<\/p>\n

Last night at the Clio Awards ceremony Manuel brought the house to tears with a powerful call to action for advertisers to use their influence to prevent gun violence, stating: \u201cThe advertising industry is the most powerful force because you can change the future by telling the truth.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n
