According to <em><a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2024\/film\/awards\/oscar-winners-2024-list-1235932341\/\">Variety<\/a><\/em>, the 2023 Oscars earned an audience of 18.75 million\u2014more than double the most popular shows on TV (NCIS and FBI). <\/p>\n<p>The best &#8220;commercial&#8221; of the evening was &#8220;I&#8217;m Just Ken,&#8217; performed by Ryan Gossling and Mark Ronson, with a guest appearance by Slash. <\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/VhWqpvGq6b4?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adweek.com\/creativity\/oscars-2024-preview-the-ad-moments-to-watch\/\"><em>Adweek<\/em><\/a><em>, <\/em>Disney sold out its ad inventory for the 96<sup>th<\/sup> Oscars on Sunday with sponsors spanning 17 categories. The company charged advertisers $1.7 million to $2.2 million for 30-second spots, which is up slightly from 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Participating advertisers included Airbnb, Allstate, Booking.com, DoorDash, Dunkin\u2019, NerdWallet, Mountain Dew Baja Blast, Procter &amp; Gamble, Unilever, Starbucks, Walmart, and more.<\/p>\n<p>Kim Kardashian\u2019s brand, Skims, aired its first TV ad during the Oscars last night. The ad was made by Wieden+Kennedy Portland and directed by Frank Lebon.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_ORVNlf8HEk?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>SiriusXM launched a cinematic 3-minute spot today that received its television debut, in a shortened version, during the Academy Awards.
