The charges claim Trump and Musk used a live broadcast on the site formerly known as Twitter to threaten and intimidate workers who are planning to strike.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph-primary-core-light\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/clzskvkao0009356kutgef25q@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\" data-analytics-observe=\"off\">UAW and its president Shawn Fain are not messing around or pulling any punches. \u201cWhen we say Donald Trump is a scab, this is what we mean,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/uaw.org\/uaw-files-federal-labor-charges-against-donald-trump-and-elon-musk-for-attempting-to-intimidate-and-threaten-workers\/\">Fain said<\/a>. \u201cBoth Trump and Musk want working class people to sit down and shut up, and they laugh about it openly. He is contributing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2024\/07\/15\/elon-musk-plans-to-give-45-million-a-month-to-pro-trump-super-pac-wsj-reports.html\">$45 million a month<\/a> to a Super PAC to get Trump re-elected.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, UAW endorsed Kamala Harris for President. \u201cIn 2024, we\u2019ve got a choice,&#8221; Fain said. &#8220;We can put a billionaire back in office and let him and his buddies get even richer. Or we can elect somebody who is ready to stand with us. Somebody who has walked a picket line.
