On the other side of the Constitutional issue is <em>The Washington Post<\/em>, which is doing whatever it can to please the nation&#8217;s Supreme Ruler.<\/p>\n<p>(Are you surprised? The newspaper is owned by billionaire tech bro, Jeff Bezos. And if we&#8217;ve learned anything at all during the making of <em>Trump Two Point Oh<\/em>, it&#8217;s who the sponsors are.)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.commoncause.org\/articles\/jeff-bezos-doesnt-want-you-to-see-this\/\">Common Cause<\/a> signed a $115,000 agreement with the Post to run an ad that would have covered the front and back pages of the newspaper. But the ad was ultimately rejected. No reason was provided, but Common Cause President Virginia Kase Solom\u00f3n pointed to the Post\u2019s decision <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/10\/25\/media\/washington-post-wont-endorse-presidential-candidate\/index.html\">not to make an endorsement<\/a> in the 2024 presidential race <em>and<\/em> its decision <a href=\"https:\/\/anntelnaes.substack.com\/p\/why-im-quitting-the-washington-post\">not to run a cartoon<\/a> showing caricatures of Bezos and others offering bags of money to a large, statuesque Trump figure.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-40029\" src=\"https:\/\/www.adpulp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Laughing-Elon-657x1024.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"657\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.adpulp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Laughing-Elon-657x1024.png 657w, https:\/\/www.adpulp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Laughing-Elon-193x300.png 193w, https:\/\/www.adpulp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Laughing-Elon-768x1196.png 768w, https:\/\/www.adpulp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Laughing-Elon.png 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 657px) 100vw, 657px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On the Common Cause website, the group says, &#8220;We won\u2019t let billionaires like Musk and Bezos silence the truth.
